The H.I.S. K.I.D.S. mission is to decrease the devastation of childhood cancer families through support programs, emotional health services, and emergency assistance.
H.I.S. K.I.D.S. is a full-time, full-service organization. We are unique in that we help families affected by childhood cancer through all stages of their life. This can range from the time they are diagnosed, throughout their treatment & beyond. In addition, we give these families continued support after the treatment is complete, including support during the after-effects of cancer. This support meets the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of our clients and their families. We also reach out to them in times of emergency when they cannot meet their basic needs.
The group also organizes a week-long summer camp called Camp HIS KIDS for children with cancer and siblings of children with cancer ages 8-17. The camp consists of treatment camp, sibling camp, LIT camp and a staff of 50+ volunteers.
