The Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation is pleased to announce Mesothelioma Awareness Day to be held on Wednesday, September 26. Together with Meso Foundation volunteers, participants can take part in awareness activities across the nation to help make this event a success.
The purpose of Mesothelioma Awareness Day is to not only raise awareness for the disease, but to join together to raise funds for mesothelioma research. Gatherings of people all across the country wearing matching t-shirts and bracelets, posting meso-related posts on social media sites, sharing mesothelioma literature and simply talking about it can have a huge influence on the spread of mesothelioma awareness. Funds raised help support mesothelioma research projects. This year, the Knowledge is Hope conference, organized by the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, will be held in New York City on September 28.
