Shreya began practicing law at the age of 23, immediately after earning her first degree in law (LLB).
Shreya hails from a family deeply rooted in the legal profession in India. Inspired by her father—a first-generation lawyer who tirelessly advocated for the civil and fundamental rights of underprivileged rural communities—she began practicing law at the age of 23, immediately after earning her first degree in law (LLB). Her early legal career focused on constitutional rights and public interest litigation in India, with numerous reported judgments to her credit.
Motivated by a passion for justice and a deep intellectual curiosity about different legal systems, Shreya earned her LL.M. (masters) from the University of California, Berkeley in 2024 and soon after became dual-licensed to practice in California. Prior to joining MRHFM, she served as a post-bar law clerk in the Consumer, Environmental, and Special Prosecutions Unit of the California District Attorney’s Office, supporting complex investigations involving environmental justice and corporate accountability.
At MRHFM, Shreya feels honored to advocate for individuals and families affected by mesothelioma. She brings a global perspective, strong advocacy skills, and an unwavering commitment to her clients. Outside of work, Shreya enjoys playing squash and basketball, practicing yoga, and chasing sunsets on spontaneous road trips.
